I am thrilled to have received my GDOME Mobile 3 days before the expected delivery date ! I can't wait to use it officially 1st time out in the Pacific Ocean soon !
The product itself is great. The idea is exceptional. The package, however came without the liquid for the dome and the thumbscrews oxidise so fast in the ocean that it was difficult to get the thumb screws out on the boat, to retrieve my camera from the unit. Very happy to jave bought rhe kit, though, and I recommended it to several other travellers.
This housing takes some getting used to but makes access to the world of underwater photography accessible. It absolutely kept my gear safe and try. Figuring out settings is difficult since it was nearly impossible to make changes once the housing is sealed up. This and much more still to figure out.
I am very satisfied with the GDome. It gives a very solid impression and seems not to promise too much. I will start using it in April. However, thanks for the really great service! The service team is superb!
When looking for an underwater housing for cameras/phone, they are pricey. So I gave this GDOME a try. I like the results. The remote button comes in handy to take pictures underwater. The only thing is I wish I can control the phone because the screen gets hot when the camera is on all the time, so it will automatically shut off after a few minutes. Also I cannot switch from video to photo. Other than that, I am happy with the product.
The trigger lever that presses play for the gopro didn’t wanna work correctly either and wasn’t hitting the play button at the top of the gopro so I had to modify it to work for me so either I ordered the wrong trigger for my gopro or idk but other then that works great an happy with the iPhone housing other then the camera not having a secure fitting besides the foam I had to cut to fit the camera in place to begin with.. I shoot shotebreak photos in Hawaii so really putting your gear to the test here!! Also curious with how the “ambassador” program works where you guys reached out for me to be a paid sponsor with your gear but how do I get more exposure and how does the money go through for that program!? I have purchased other (Cheaper) dome systems and it leaked within 5 mins of use, rendering it completely useless. This system on the other hand worked flawlessly, just as I expected. I was in the water with it for 6-8 hours a day for 6 days, not a single leak or issue. Very happy customer! I would buy again.
I have not had a chance to check out the Mobile 3 as of yet as it is VERY cold where i live so I will come back in 6 months to write a review! Stay tuned! But from a visualization perspective, i looks amazing! The quality is amazing!

I absolutely love my XL 3 Surf housing. Being able to learn and new form of photographic has been so much fun. Especially when I went to Hawaii.
Used it for the second time today and it was awesome. Shot some really cool video in Mauritius.

I ordered my Gdome Mobile V2 almost a year before a trip. I took it with me on my trip to find the dome was leaking. As I liked closer there were some manufacturer issues that were allowing water to seep under the edging of the dome. I didn’t get to use it sadly while in Hawaii. I contacted support upon my return and showed them photos of the issues. Customer service promptly replied and sent me a replacement dome. This company stands behind their products and have won my trust and continued patronage for future purchases. Even though I didn’t get to use my dome I am confident it will be bomber now and cannot wait for my next trip.
Got this item because I wanted a dome that didn’t have to be replaced every time I update my phone/GoPro (I cut one piece of foam for each). It works perfectly and is of high quality – definitely recommended!
