The GDome XL Wireless Shutter Hub is the central control system that enables wireless / magnetic triggering of your camera’s focus and shutter from your GDome handle or trigger system.
It allows you to set precise half-press (focus) and full-press (shutter) points, giving you full control over exactly when your camera focuses and fires. This makes it ideal for fast-paced shooting where timing and responsiveness are critical.
The system works completely wirelessly, meaning there are no physical cables entering the housing, helping maintain a fully sealed and watertight setup. The hub is wired as it connects via a plug-and-play 2.5mm TRS interface, making it compatible with a wide range of camera trigger cables.
Included as part of the GDome trigger ecosystem, it mounts inside the housing and works together with your side or surf trigger system to deliver smooth, reliable camera control in demanding environments.
It should be secured in place using high-quality 3M tape or click-lock tape. Alternatively, it can be permanently fixed with epoxy for users who prefer a permanent installation and are comfortable using adhesive bonding methods.
