In these terms and conditions, unless specifically stated otherwise:
“We” or "us" shall mean Action Distribution PTY LTD, trading as GDOME SHOP, and "you" or "your" shall mean the customer; and products" means the products offered by us for purchase on the GDOME SHOP website from time to time.
Subject to the provisions below, the price of each GDOME SHOP product is displayed on the GDOME SHOP website alongside the product concerned and is quoted in United States Dollars (USD). In the event of a sale or special offer, the discounted price is displayed.
Prices displayed exclude VAT, local duties, taxes and are subject to change from time to time.
We shall make all reasonable efforts to procure that the prices displayed on the GDOME SHOP website are correct as at the time of display.
In the event that products are displayed alongside incorrect prices, however, we will not be obliged to sell the products in question at the prices alongside which they were displayed, but shall only be liable to refund to you the difference between the correct price and the price at which the products were purchased, where the purchase price paid exceeded the correct price.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY COSTS
By Accepting these terms and conditions, you accept that:
- You understand that there may be customs taxes and duties charges by your local revenue service.
- If you do not pay your local customs and duties, your package will be returned to us
- We have the right to refund you, less all handling, shipping and disbursement costs if you reject the customs charges when it gets to your country.
- If you have to redirect your package to a different address after your package has left our warehouse, there will be a redirection fee applicable, this fee will be quoted by the courier that your package was sent out with, we will charge you the exact quoted amount for the redirection.
We take pride in the incredible camera accessories we manufacture and want to offer you the most transparent and market leading customer service available. Please bear in mind we do not have any control on the above-mentioned taxes and duties (If applicable) and need to make our customers aware of any potential charges they may incur.
So to be clear, all prices exclude your local taxes and duties, please check your local taxes and duties before placing your order.
We cover all shipping costs but do not cover local taxes and duties (such as VAT, customs duties ect).
We ship world wide and do not calculate taxes and duties for individual countries.
We offer a variety of different shipping options to suit your needs: These prices are automated prices and do not take into account outlying areas.
- If you are in an outlying area we will contact before shipping out your package with a screenshot of the costing directly off the couriers website.
- If there is an additional amount due above what has been paid, we will first send you a request asking to send your package to a more central location.
- If there are no other addresses that are more central for us to send your package to, we will request an additional payment to cover the shortfall.
- If you are unhappy with this delivery cost we can refund you in full as your order would not have been sent.

We shall use our best endeavours to ensure that all products purchased on the GDOME SHOP website:

We do not process over weekends & public holidays, all orders placed will be processed within 24-72 hours from the first working day after the order is placed.
By placing an order, you understand and agree that any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address nominated by you to us, shall be conclusively presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.
Should no one be in attendance at your nominated delivery address at the time of delivery, the products will be retained by us and a notice will be left at the delivery address to this effect. You will be required to contact Hana Weller at GDOME SHOP (email@example.com / +27 845590801) to make new arrangements for delivery or collection.
We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should we be required to make a further delivery if no one is at your nominated delivery address to receive the products on agreed delivery day.
Our liability for failing to deliver the products on the agreed delivery day, or at all, is limited to ensuring that the products are delivered at a later agreed time at no additional charge to you.
You are obliged to ensure that you or an authorised person shall be in attendance at the delivery address during the agreed delivery day and that appropriate access to the delivery address will be made available to our delivery team .
Any person accepting delivery of the products at the delivery address nominated by you shall be requested to confirm his/her acceptance of the products, and that the products were in a satisfactory condition by signing & printing his/her name on the accompanying delivery slip, failing which the products shall not be released into his/her custody.
Should you instruct us to make delivery to any person or address other than the person or address originally nominated by you for delivery (for instance, to a neighbour), we shall not be liable for any loss or damage, or for any discrepancy in the order, arising out of delivery to such alternative person or address.
GDome ships mainly through DHL & Tunl for International orders. By purchasing items from GDome, you acknowledge that GDome is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please refer to your tracking number to get details of where your shipment is. If your package shows it was successfully delivered, and you did not receive it, please contact us immediately.
Insurance for packages is charged separately by DHL and Tunl, we offer the option to insure your package with Insurify Shipping Protection.
By deselecting Insurify Shipping Protection, you are agreeing to have your package sent without insurance and that GDome is not liable for items that are lost, damaged, or stolen during shipping.
GDome offers a 30 day return policy for new items purchased directly through our online store or at our physical store. GDome will only provide exchanges or store credit for change of mind or incorrectly ordered products. GDome will not refund any shipping and credit card costs. Please see our full return policy here. The customer is responsible for shipping cost of the returned items. A restocking charge may be applied in some countries.
If the reason for your return is not because of a GDome error, any shipping costs and handling fees, incurred by GDome may be deducted from your refund.
Please note: if you return an item and did not originally pay shipping costs, the shipping cost incurred by GDome will be deducted from your refund.
After 14 days, non-warranty related returns are at the SOLE DISCRETION of GDome. Products must be shipped to our warehouse and will be checked. If your returned product has been checked and the products are not in a new, re-sellable condition, a repackaging, restocking, and/or damaged goods fee may be deducted from the refund or the product will be shipped back to you. We strongly urge you to repackage the products with care. If you need advice on how to re-pack the gear, please contact us.
It generally takes 3 – 5 days after the package arrives at our warehouse for your return to be processed and a credit to be issued.
As soon as the return is processed you will get an email confirmation.
Products used around water
To ensure you never lose a camera we insist that if you are using any of our mounts around water please make sure you use a tether and floaty Backdoor.
- This is specifically important for mounts such as the chest mount, wrist strap, head strap, board mounts, mouth mounts, strut mount, kite mount, fin mount.
The GDOME SHOP will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused if you have not run a secure safety tether and have a floaty attached to your camera or case when around water.
For housings and other integral parts for waterproofing
Please ensure you water test the housing before use (without a camera in the housing) for its first use to the maximum depth you plan on using your housing for/over a reasonable period of time (the deeper and longer the better).
1) Put it in a pool net and drop it to the bottom of a pool for an hour or so.
2) Ensure when you close the housing that there is no debris blocking the seals or mechanism (even a hair can be problematic)
3) That the seals are in good condition and sitting where they should.
4) You need to confirm it is leak-proof before putting your camera in and going underwater with the housing.
If there is any sign of moisture in the housing during tests or use, immediately return the housing to us for a refund or replacement unit.
We will make every effort to ensure that the information supplied on the GDOME SHOP website from time to time is accurate.
Where delays (including, without limitation, delays arising out of stock shortages) may affect your order, we will inform you of same as soon as is practicable after we become aware of such delay, and you shall be entitled, at your election, to:
1) Cancel (if the package has not already been shipped) the order and be refunded any monies already paid by you in that regard, together with interest thereon at the rate prescribed in the Consumer Protection Act from time to time; or
2) Continue with the order, and accept delivery of the products concerned at a later date.
We are not a shipping company and are not responsible for any delay to the estimated delivery time displayed on our website or by the said courier.
At the time of your placing an order, the transaction details will be presented by us to the relevant bank, for the purposes of obtaining authorization for the amount of the order concerned. Should the relevant bank decline authorization for a transaction, we shall notify you in writing accordingly, and we shall be entitled, but not obliged, to cancel the order concerned.
Payment is only collected by us once the order is complete and prior to the products being shipped.
Note that to protect both your and our interests, we scrutinize all transactions very carefully to prevent attempted fraud, and we reserve the right to refuse a transaction where we are not entirely satisfied with it's legitimacy.
You can also choose to collect and pay at our warehouse.
AGREEMENTS OF SALE
By placing an order on the GDOME SHOP website, you acknowledge and agree that placing a product in a shopping basket or adding it to a wish list without completing the purchase cycle does not:
Give rise to and/or constitute an agreement of sale between us and you, and we shall not be liable if products identified by you for purchase are no longer available when the purchase cycle is completed later; and/or
Constitute an order for such a product, and we may remove such a product from your shopping basket or wishlist if no stock of the product is available.
An agreement of sale between us and you only comes into effect if and when:
A credit card authorization is received from the issuing bank; or
Payment authorization is received from the bank in question
We reserve the right to refuse to accept and/or execute any order without giving reasons therefor. We also reserve the right to cancel orders in whole
or in part, as circumstances dictate and we shall have no liability in respect
of such refusal and/or cancellation, provided that we shall notify you of such cancellation immediately, and refund to you any amounts actually paid by you to us in respect of the order concerned.
STOCK AVAILABILITY & REFUNDS
By placing an order on the GDOME SHOP website, you acknowledge and agree that stocks of all products on offer on the GDOME SHOP website are limited. We shall use all reasonable efforts to discontinue the offer of a product, as soon as the stock of the product concerned is no longer available. However, should products still appear on offer after stocks thereof are sold out, we shall have no liability in respect of the unavailability of the product concerned, provided that we shall notify you of the unavailability of the product as soon as practicably possible after we become aware thereof, and refund to you monies actually paid by you in consideration for the unavailable products, where we are unable to fulfill orders placed, not later than 30 (thirty) days after notifying you of the product’s unavailability.
SPECIAL OFFERS & REFUNDS
We shall not be liable for the sale of products at lower and/or temporary discount prices where you, for any reason whatsoever, are unable to conclude an agreement of sale with us in respect of the products concerned prior to such prices being increased.
If we supply a product other than the product actually ordered by you, or if a product is in any way faulty or damaged, we will, at your election, exchange it for the correct or non-defective one, as the case may be, or refund to you the full purchase price paid for the product, including delivery costs.
RISK & OWNERSHIP
Risk in and to the products shall pass to you as soon as the package has left our warehouse with the relevant couriers.
Ownership in and to the products shall pass to you upon receipt, by us, of the purchase price payable in respect of the products concerned.
AFFILIATE PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
As an authorized affiliate (Affiliate) of GDome, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement (Agreement).
Please read the entire Agreement carefully before registering and promoting GDome as an Affiliate.
Your participation in the Program is solely to legally advertise our website to receive a commission on products purchased by individuals referred to GDome by your own website or personal referrals.
By signing up for the GDome Affiliate Program (Program), you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and its terms and conditions.
Approval or Rejection of the Application
a) We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Affiliate Program Application in our sole and absolute discretion.
b) You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Application.
Commissions will be paid once a month.
a) For an Affiliate to receive a commission, the referred account must remain active for a minimum of 37 days.
b) You cannot refer yourself, or direct family and you will not receive a commission on your own accounts.
c) There is also a limit of one commission per referral. If someone clicks the link on your site and orders multiple times, then you will receive a commission on the first order only.
d) If we think that you have in any way infringed on these terms and conditions, we hold the right to reject any commission at our own discretion.
e) Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Transactions that result in chargebacks or refunds will not be paid out.
f) Standard commission is 10%, it is up to 15% depending on the affiliate and what they are doing (shooting content for us to share, product reviews on YT ect). We are open to bumping people up, but need to see what permanent exposure they have given us.
NB - We DO NOT pay commission on shipping fees or refunded / canceled orders
We hold the right to change our commission offer or cancel this offer at any time after all due payments have been made.
Your affiliate application and status in the Program may be suspended or terminated for any of the following reasons:
- Inappropriate advertisements (false claims, discount codes, coupon codes, misleading hyperlinks, etc.).
- Spamming (mass email, mass newsgroup posting, etc.).
- Advertising on sites containing or promoting illegal activities.
- Failure to disclose the affiliate relationship for any promotion that qualifies as an endorsement under existing Federal Trade Commission guidelines and regulations, or any applicable state laws.
- Violation of intellectual property rights.
- GDome reserves the right to require license agreements from those who employ trademarks of GDome in order to protect our intellectual property rights.
- Offering rebates, discount codes, coupons, or another form of promised kick-backs from your affiliate commission as an incentive. Adding bonuses or bundling other products with GDome, however, is acceptable.
- Self-referrals, fraudulent transactions, suspected Affiliate fraud.
In addition to the foregoing, GDome reserves the right to terminate any Affiliate account at any time, for any violations of this Agreement or no reason.
a) You may use graphics and text links both on your website and within in your email messages.
b) You may also advertise the GDome site in online and offline classified ads, magazines, and newspapers.
c) You may use the graphics and text provided by us, or you may create your own as long as they are deemed appropriate according to the conditions and not in violation as outlined in Condition 3.
Coupon and Deal Sites
GDome occasionally offers coupons to select affiliates and to our newsletter subscribers. If you’re not pre-approved / assigned a branded coupon, then you’re not allowed to promote the coupon. Below are the terms that apply for any affiliate who is considering the promotion of our products in relation to a deal or coupon:
- Affiliates may not use misleading text on affiliate links, buttons or images to imply that anything besides currently authorized deals to the specific affiliate.
- Affiliates may not bid on GDome Coupons, GDome Discounts or other phrases implying coupons are available.
- Affiliates may not generate pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, frames, or any other seen or unseen actions that set affiliate cookies unless the user has expressed a clear and explicit interest in activating specific savings by clicking on a clearly marked link, button or image for that particular coupon or deal. Your link must send the visitor to the merchant site.
- User must be able to see coupon/deal/savings information and details before an affiliate cookie is set (i.e. “click here to see coupons and open a window to merchant site” is NOT allowed).
- Affiliate sites may not have “Click for (or to see) Deal/Coupon” or any variation when there are no coupons or deals available, and the click opens the merchant site or sets a cookie. Affiliates with such text on the merchant landing page will be removed from the program immediately.
Pay Per Click (PPC) Policy
PPC bidding is NOT allowed without prior written permission.
a) GDome will not be liable for indirect or accidental damages (loss of revenue, commissions) due to affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, or any results of intents of harm to the Program and/or to our website(s).
b) We do not make any expressed or implied warranties with respect to the Program and/or the memberships or products sold by GDome.
c) We make no claim that the operation of the Program and/or our website(s) will be error-free and we will not be liable for any interruptions or errors.
Term of the Agreement
The term of this Agreement begins upon your acceptance in the Program and will end when your Affiliate account is terminated. The terms and conditions of this agreement may be modified by us at any time. If any modification to the terms and conditions of this Agreement are unacceptable to you, your only choice is to terminate your Affiliate account. Your continuing participation in the Program will constitute your acceptance of any change.
Affiliate shall indemnify and hold harmless GDome and its affiliate and subsidiary companies, officers, directors, employees, licensees, successors and assigns, including those licensed or authorized by GDome to transmit and distribute materials, from any and all liabilities, damages, fines, judgments, claims, costs, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and costs) arising out of or related to any and all claims sustained in connection with this Agreement due to the negligence, misrepresentation, failure to disclose, or intentional misconduct of Affiliate.11.10 Governing
Law, Jurisdiction, and Attorney Fees
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any dispute arising under or related in any way to this Agreement shall be adjudicated exclusively in the state courts located in Cape Town, South Africa. In the event of litigation to enforce any provision of this Agreement, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover from the other party its costs and fees, including reasonable legal fees.
Here at Action Distribution PTY LTD our customers and their privacy are extremely important to us. Your personal information, including all contact information, is held as strictly confidential. We will not sell or rent any of the information you provide through this website. We do not store any of your credit card information on site. We may have to call or email you from time to time to get clarity on an order detail or to provide you with order updates. We will not publish details of your order or item details on the package to help avoid theft in transit.
Sharing of your information
There is some information that we may need to share. The information that we may need to share with partners and with third-party contractors for the purposes of:
- Processing credit card transactions
- Delivering your goods to you
Safety information and warning
• Do not exceed depths the products depth rating.
• Do not leave your gear in temperatures greater than 50 C (125 F)
Maintenance and repair
With proper care your XL Housing will last for many years. If in time you do notice any problems that come up or if there is any damage to the equipment please contact GDome directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for repairs or servicing.
Limit of liability
In the event of a product warranty claim, GDome is only liable up to the value originally paid for the product.
Losses of associated equipment, income or any other financial costs are not covered under this warranty, under any circumstances.
Warranty - GDome products comes with a full 1 year product warranty.
As many GDome products are often used in extreme and volatile environments, we are unable to cover for loss or damage of equipment, personal injury or financial loss. To reduce the risk of these losses occurring, we strongly recommend you read the relevant product instructions carefully and test the product before use.
What does the warranty cover?
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, with exceptions stated below
What is not covered?
- The warranty does not cover damage as the result of normal wear and tear.
- The warranty does not cover damage as the result user error.
- Flexible membranes are sensitive to impact and sharp objects, they should always be treated with care and stored and transported individually only with other soft items to ensure that they do not get damaged while not in use. We highly suggest getting a protective rear cover or individual bag to keep your GDome Membrane safe when not in use. Damage to membranes is not covered under warrantee.
- Determination of what constitutes normal wear and tear will be at the discretion of GDome service centers.
- The warranty guarantee only applies to the original purchaser of the product when purchased from GDome direct or through one of our authorized dealers. Therefore, we may ask for proof of purchase.
- This warranty does not cover for any loss of associated equipment such as cameras, lenses or other associated equipment not sold by GDome.
- Loss of income, reputation or other financial expenses, such as personal injury are also not covered by this warranty.
- Shipping costs for returned products are the responsibility of the customer.
How long does the coverage last?
This warranty runs for 1 year from the date your product is received.
What will GDome do?
GDome will repair any defect that proves defective in materials and workmanship. If repairing is not possible, GDome will replace the product, or, offer a store credit for the original purchase price, whichever is agreed to by the customer and GDome / Retailer store.

Please practice extreme caution when using your water housing. Only use this product in conditions that are within yours capabilities. Serious injuries or drowning could occur if you or others are not competent for the prevailing conditions.

Action Distribution PTY LTD will not be responsible for and disclaims all liability for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by you or any third party (including your company), as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to your access and use of the website, any information contained on the website, your or your company's personal information or material and information transmitted over our system. In particular, neither the website owner nor any third party or data or content provider shall be liable in any way to you or to any other person, firm or corporation whatsoever for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever arising from any delays, inaccuracies, errors in, or omission of any share price information or the transmission thereof, or for any actions taken in reliance thereon or occasioned thereby or by reason of non-performance or interruption, or termination thereof.
